It is important to us that users can successfully operate this website
regardless of age, competence or ability. As a result we have introduced
scalable text sizing so users can adjust the size of the text in their
browser independently of the website setting. We have also built this
site using CSS 2.0 and XHTML 1.0 - this will help users with screen
readers due to the minimised use of tables (where necessary information
may be presented in a tabular format).

At this stage Live The Lingo meets the minimum A W3c standard. We will
be improving this standard with proposals set out in phase 2 of our
project plan and we are aiming to be fully compliant with the
implementation of phase 3.
